Welcome to Maidwell Primary School

I am proud and excited to be the Headteacher here at Maidwell Primary School and welcome all members of our school family and community. 

We are a small, rural village primary school with a strong sense of family and community. We pride ourselves on developing strong, positive and nurturing relationships with every child in our school, and each family that works in partnership with us to foster a deep love of school and learning in our children. 

We hold equal value in the academic growth of our children and the personal and social development of each individual, providing a wide range of experiences which enrich their learning during their time with us.  

Our fantastic staff team work hard to ensure each of our children achieves their potential, whilst building self-esteem and confidence to support our children develop the resilience needed to be a life-long learner. 

Maidwell is a school where enjoyment in school life is evident from our playground to our classrooms. Our children love school and thrive in our positive, safe and motivating environment.  Smiles and laughter are as important to us as working hard and aiming high.
